As Joe Kurr had some problem with his PC's right after the LLTM meet (they where stolen in front of his house) it was difficult to get a hold ofthe LLTM Lock On missions. But Luckely Emmer had a backup.
So here is the Lock On LLTM2006 competition package.

Hi all,
The LLTM was once again a great success.
All participants found the event to be a great challenge, good facilities and a great atmosphere to meet, fly and chat with ones fellow flight simmer.
The competitions where fierce but fair. And as it turned out the Lock On section had a serious competition going with 9 pilots.
We also had a great first-timer for the LLTM.

LLTM2006 Event |

Hi all,
Some last minute updates.
Sponsors
I am very happy to announce that Saitek came through at the last moment as a LLTM2006 sponsor.
They offer some great and useful products and so a valuable addition to the pricemoney to be earned by the competition pilots.
Thank you Saitek Germany for this last minute effort.
Also a reminder on the effort Naturalpoint has done for the LLTM2006. They have given some TrackIR4 units to be won by the competition pilots.
Both the TrackIR4 and the new Saitek rudder and X-52 stick will be on display and for all to have a testrun on.
We will have four PC's installed with Falcon 4 Allied Force, Lock On and Il-2.
323 squadron
The Royal Netherlands Air force 323 squadron from Leeuwarden has once again offered a day at the base for the Falcon 4 Allied Force competition winners.
Amongst other things you will be shown around on the base, experience a start-up, take-off and landing sequence. And a simride in the ULT simulator.
Buffet
We had some requests, now that we will have the buffet arrangement again, if we could also have the doggybags on Sunday.
No ..... we will not. Sorry.
The doggybag was not used as much as we thought, last year. So we will not do the effort and investment again.
Timeframe for the buffet to be open is:
Friday and Saturday:
Lunch: 12:00 - 15:00 hrs
Diner: 16:30 - 20:00 hrs
Sunday:
Lunch: 12:00 - 15:00 hrs (time needs to be confirmed)
FCC2
Great news also for the pitbuilders and realism pilots amongst us.
Eagle, known from the FCC unit for the Cougar, will show his FCC2 unit on Saturday at the LLTM 2006.
Make sure you get to feel the new setup. It's amazing and a must for the hardcore simmer.
All for now.
