All pilots and squadrons are responsible for their own network. You need a switch or hub with enough ports for all your squadmates (4 connections). But it’s cool to have an oversized network so you can connect to other squadrons for some freeflight inbetween the competition rounds. That means it’s best to bring in a HUB or switch with at least 5 ports.
We will use a big hall for the event, that means you will need a long UTP-cable to reach another squadron on the other end of the hall. Ofcourse your squad-mates will sit next to you, in that point of view an UTP-cable with a length of 5 meter is more than enough, but you need a cable with a length up to 25 meter to cross the hall to connect to another squad (depending of squad positions).
